Guardian was founded by Adam Broadbent and Nicholas Barger, both of whom witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of scammers targeting their parents. Our parents, who were not wealthy, sacrificed for years to ensure we could go to college and secure a comfortable retirement for themselves. Yet, in less than a year, all their hard-earned savings were at risk as scammers preyed on them during their most vulnerable moments—after the loss of a spouse, during medical emergencies, or even by posing as a child in distress.

We knew this couldn't continue. That's why we built Guardian — to empower trusted family members and caregivers to work hand-in-hand with their elders, protecting them from fraud and theft. Guardian is our way of ensuring that the sacrifices our people like our parents made aren't undone by the heartless actions of scammers.
